A Maumelle woman has turned her love of scrapbooking into a way to show support for deployed soldiers. Stephanie Ferrara started scrapbooking 13 years ago when her son, Truitt, 14, was a baby.

Soldiers Angels Area Meeting and Card Crop

On March 22nd the Little Rock area Soldiers Angels will be meeting at the Maumelle Library at 1pm. We will discuss upcoming Soldiers' Angels events and share ideas for future events.

Following the meeting we will make cards to be sent to soldiers with the 39th Infantry Brigade. These will be added to the cards made and signed at Scrapping 4 Soldiers on March 29th.

Here's a little sneak peek of some of the goodies that will be up for auction or given away throughout the day during Scrapping 4 Soldiers!

Leisure Arts!!

Oh, boy! Oh, boy! I got a big box of card making supplies and scrapbooking books from Leisure Arts the other day! I can't wait for you guys to see these! Some of these products will be available for use during the crop to make cards, but I will be setting some of them aside for door prizes! Who knows, you could go home with a Doodling for Scrapbooks book or maybe you have a little scrapper at home that would enjoy the Care Bears Scrapbooking book (stickers, paper and ideas)!

I'll post some sneak peak pictures of some of the silent auction items and door prizes this weekend!
